Meet Our Founder Brandie Michelle Peters
Brandie Michelle Peters started the PsyChicks Community in 2019 and then launched the first incarnation of the PsyChicks Collective shortly after. As an experienced marketer working in the natural wellness, self help, holistic healing industry for over a decade, she understood the unique challenges that metaphysical professionals face when promoting their products and services. As someone who is passionate about the power of community support as a healing modality , she developed the PsyChicks Community and Collective to create a genuine heart-led method of bringing practitioners and potential customers together. By focusing on the community members experience above all else and then welcoming collective members to serve as co-hosts of the group so they can bring their purpose and passion for being of service forward. The solution PsyChicks offers for our general audience members is a casual, non-rigid, diverse, well-moderated online space where they can interact with others who share their interest in the metaphysical. How much am I allowed to post in the group?
PsyChicks Collective is a self-led advertising opportunity you can post as much or as little as you would like.
What am I allowed to post?
Our advice to new recruits is to "treat the group as if it were one you built of your own". What this means is , if the community audience was yours, what would you do with it, follow the lead on that zing! We allow you to post whatever you would like and do not dictate what our members should or shouldn't do to promote their separate businesses.
Are there any "off limits" topics or offerings?
We tend to describe ourselves as open-minded and non political. We do not suggest starting political, philosophical, or spiritual debates as it divides our community. We handle any "drama" around these things on a case by case basis. We do suggest that our members act intentionally and with respect to their leadership positioning when engaging with our community.
What is your cancelation and refund policy?
If you have signed up month to month you can cancel any time before your next upcoming payment date. Refunds are only issued in the instance of a member being removed from the collective by the administrative team. We do not offer refunds on unused memberships or if a member chooses to take a break without informing us,
Can I pause my membership?
Rather than off-board members who wish to stay in the collective but require a break for personal or professional reasons we can "pause" them. If your membership is on pause you can still access the PsyChicks Collective Facebook Group & Chat to remain part of the collective community. Paused members may not promote their offers, be included in promotional opportunities towards the audience and their directory listing will be hidden while they are paused. You must contact us and make your case to pause yourself, simply becoming inactive or dormant without notice is not considered as an official pause and you still will be charged.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Our missed payment policy is that we contact you and inform you that your payment has been missed. If you are having financial hardship or struggling with personal challenges we will consider your case. We prefer to work with our active members and see what we can do to help keep them on, hence why we allow for the option to pause. Missed payments or extended pauses , lapse in communication or taking advantage of this or any member of the collective's charitable spirit in frequency enough to be considered "an intentional habit" will lead to removal.
Is this "like" a psychic hotline website and if so what is the commission?
No! PsyChicks aspires NOT to be like a psychic hotline and we never take a cut of your sales. It is a simple exchange , you pay for your membership and we give you the opportunity to share your business. This is the fair model we believe in.
